Built by people who watched their team paste secrets into ChatGPT.
PromptSpotter started in 2026, when our founder watched engineers on their team paste API keys into ChatGPT while debugging — not because they didn’t know better, but because the alternative was slower. Every existing DLP product was a six-week deployment project. There had to be a simpler way: put the protection right where the typing happens, in the browser.
We’re a small team based in the UK, founder-led. No sales team, no demos unless you ask. We write the product, ship it weekly, and answer support emails ourselves. If you’d rather buy from a human than from a brochure, you’re in the right place.
What we’re building toward
What’s on the docket for the next major version:
- SAML SSO — for teams who already centralise identity in Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace and want PromptSpotter to fit the same login.
- More browsers — Firefox and Safari support, so coverage isn’t Chrome-only.
- Deeper enterprise integrations — SIEM streaming (Splunk, Sentinel, Datadog), SCIM provisioning, and signed evidence packs for your security review.
